I was reading this article about the app "Girls Around Me", and then I had this idea to identify people who are stalking you: put a small piece of fake information on your Facebook profile — say that you love a band that you really hate, for example. If a stranger pretends to know you and tries to get closer to you using information from your profile this will soon stand out.
